CALLBACK LIST
Dear Students,
THANK YOU to everyone who auditioned for Clue! I was thrilled with the gigantic turnout for these auditions and so happy to see everyone making strong efforts to portray these crazy characters! Remember that callbacks are an opportunity for directors to see more from certain people or to try combinations of people together. Callbacks are not a guarantee that you either have or have not been cast, so everyone should still check the cast list. I am to post it after school on Friday, and I'll make an announcement on BAND when it is ready.
Regardless of how casting turns out for you personally, I would love to see you continue to be involved in CHS Theatre! Set building and costuming run after school (Flexible schedule! No experience necessary!), STAGE club meets once a month (our first meeting is Wednesday), auditions for Kodachrome will be after Thanksgiving, and auditions for Cinderella (our spring musical will have the largest cast of the year) will be the first week of February.
Directors are sometimes willing to share audition feedback with actors. I feel this is an important part of our educational process, so I am happy to meet with students to share my observations. I will begin scheduling appointments starting the week of September 20, and I ask that you be respectful of the time it takes to get rehearsals started by waiting to contact me until then. Come in open to your own growth, and I look forward to supporting you! Parents, learning to accept feedback is a great life skill for your children, so I choose to only share audition feedback in-person with students.
