A NOTE FROM MR. HAMEN
THANK YOU to everyone who auditioned to be a part of The Theory of Relativity, and thank you for your patience while we assembled the cast list. Putting together a cast is always difficult when there are so many talented people auditioning, but it’s even more difficult when we are navigating a new process, making decisions to keep ourselves and each other safe, and allowing the flexibility we need to make it all happen.
There is no doubt that theatre looks different this year and that the opportunities C.H.S. Theatre is able to offer are impacted by it. Nevertheless, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue creating theatre, to share it with an audience at some point, to honor the strength and resilience that have come out of these challenges, and to look forward to returning to our stage. If you are able to join C.H.S. Theatre for whatever the next opportunity may be, we will be so happy to see you. In the meantime, we are excited to start The Theory of Relativity, and we appreciate the support of everyone--cast, crew, leaders, audiences, and other supporters--who will be part of its success!
We wish you a winter break filled with opportunities for joy, gratitude, and rest!
-Mr. Hamen and the C.H.S. Theatre Staff

FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH WHERE YOU APPEAR IN THE SHOW: Use the breakdown here and your digital or hard copy of the script to start to get a feel for the show.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE T.B.A.: Please be aware that because we have not yet set our rehearsal schedule, there may be adjustments, particularly when groups of people are involved. We are flexible in accommodating the schedule conflicts you provided in advance at auditions, but please understand that when it comes to filming, especially, there may be days where a schedule conflict could prevent you from appearing or where missing music rehearsals could prevent you from being prepared to record. The bottom line: we will do our best to fit everyone in without holding up our process.
