HOW CAN WE SUPPORT C.H.S. PERFORMING ARTS DURING THIS CHALLENGING TIME? Our performing arts organizations depend on the support of individuals, businesses, and community organizations to produce events and fund high-quality learning opportunities. If you would like to make a contribution, please visit our websites or contact individual program directors.
Additionally, although events may not be held with in-person patrons at this time, stay up-to-date with announcements about opportunities to support online fundraisers or attend virtual performances. Please note that by subscribing to C.H.S. announcements, you will receive ALL C.H.S. announcements, not those only relating to performing arts. If you only wish to receive updates about performing arts, please follow our programs’ social media or check our websites regularly.
To make a donation to C.H.S. Theatre, please click on "Advertise with Us" from the menu and select "Donations."
WHEN WILL WE FIND OUT ABOUT PLANS FOR AFTER-SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES, LIKE AUDITIONS, SET BUILD, OR COSTUMING? Once we have permission to announce our plans, we will share them publicly on the C.H.S. Theatre website (www.centervillehstheatre.com), Facebook (Centerville High School Theatre), the BAND app (band.us/@chstheatre), and the S.T.A.G.E. club officers’ Instagram (@chstheatreco). The BAND app is our primary method of sharing announcements and reminders with students and parents.
WE ARE NEW TO C.H.S. THEATRE. WHERE CAN WE FIND MORE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PROGRAM? Welcome! The C.H.S. Theatre website has a page devoted to new students and parents. It contains guides, sample handouts, common terms, and more. Click on "Students & Parents" from the menu, then select "Guides for Parents and Students."
You may also visit the C.H.S. Theatre YouTube channel to view a “video brochure” with an overview of our program and a “video tour” of our spaces that highlights opportunities for actors, technicians, leaders, costumers, musicians, set builders, and more. Please contact one of the theatre teachers for any additional information: Mr. Hamen: production director, instructor for Theatre 1, Theatre 2, Advanced Acting/Directing Mr. Cordonnier: technical director, instructor for technical theatre
