All seating at C.H.S. Theatre productions is general admission. The doors will open for seating at 7:00, and a line typically forms for those wishing to secure their favorite spots.
Masks are optional at C.H.S events. Patrons are welcome to wear their own masks to performances.
Sign language interpretation is available at select performances. We will publish these dates when they are available. When you arrive, an interpreter will show you to a seating area that has the best view of the interpretation.
Ushers will scan your digital ticket or printout at the door.
Wheelchair areas are located in the center of the house. Companion seating is nearby.
Please note that C.H.S. Theatre actors leave their performance on the stage at the end; actors do not appear in costume when greeting guests.
HOW TO PURCHASE CHS THEATRE TICKETS ONLINE
Click on the "PURCHASE TICKETS" button above or visit showtix4u.comand search "Centerville."
Click on "CURRENT EVENTS" to show available events.
Find your desired event and click "BUY TICKETS" below it.
Select your desired date and complete the purchasing process.
You will receive an email confirmation containing your digital tickets. You may bring this with you either as a printout or on your phone.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ONLINE TICKET SALES:
Tickets will be sold online (by credit card) only. Anyone who wishes to purchase a ticket at the door may do so at a kiosk inside the Performing Arts Center lobby.
Golden Elk Passes will be accepted at the door. These tickets are not available to pre-order online. Student activity passes are accepted for plays but not for musicals.
Our online ticketing service is determined by our contract with the publisher of each each play/musical. It is possible the ticketing service, terms, and/or fees could vary from show to show.
PLAYS: $10* for all tickets MUSICALS: $15* for all tickets *Additional credit card processing fees may apply. These are determined by the online ticketing service.
TICKETING AND SEATING AT CHS
There are no reserved seats at CHS Theatre productions, regardless of how or when you purchase your tickets.
You will receive an email confirmation from the online ticketing service that contains your digital tickets.
If you purchase your tickets in advance, you may show them on your phone when you arrive. You do not need to print out your tickets unless you would like to have paper tickets.
The doors to the Performing Arts Center lobby usually open by 6:45.
The seating entry doors usually open by 7:15. A line to enter typically forms before the doors open.
All performances begin at 7:30 pm.
Latecomers are seated at the discretion of the House Manager.
Passes are accepted at the door only. Tickets may not be reserved online. Simply show your pass at the door for entry.
Student activity passes are accepted for plays but not for musicals.
Although we strive to honor all passes, these tickets are not reservable and are subject to availability based on attendance.
If you do not already have a Golden Elk Pass, be sure to get one ahead of time. Golden Elk Passes can be picked up at the CHS Front Desk (Central Unit Office) during school hours. These passes are NOT available online or at the event. Find more information about Gold Elk Passes here.
REMEMBER: THERE ARE NO RESERVED SEATS - If you purchase your tickets in advance, you still need to arrive early enough to find a good seat.
