X-TREME THEATRE

X-TREME THEATRE has become an annual tradition at CHS and is one of the most popular activities with the theatre students. In a nutshell, X-TREME THEATRE is the production of a show in 24 hours! Students are “locked in” at the high school for this time. They sleep very little, if at all.

In just 24 hours, the students
  • plan the show
  • write the script
  • build the set
  • cast the actors
  • costume the actors
  • organize props
  • learn their lines
  • rehearse
  • design and set the lighting and sound
  • create and print a program.

The performance night begins with improv comedy performed by CHS students. The production is structured differently from year to year, but it is always funny and fun to watch.

Admission is free. Donations are welcomed.
