CAST LIST: King Kirby
Thank you to everyone who auditioned to be a part of the cast or applied to be part of the leadership team of King Kirby, and congratulations to the cast and leadership team, which are posted below.
CHS Theatre has one more audition/leadership opportunity ahead this year. Auditions for Zombie Prom will be February 3-4, and audition information and leadership applications will be available starting at the January 14 STAGE meeting. Each show has different needs, so if you are not a part of this cast, we encourage you to audition again in the future! Theatre is always looking for enthusiastic, creative, hard-working people! We would also love to see you at set build, at costuming, at STAGE club meetings, or in the audience!
Because we are creating theatre in an educational setting, some students may wish to meet to get feedback about their work at auditions and/or callbacks. I am happy to share my observations, and I make this available to students only so that they may take ownership of their growth. I ask that you respect the time it takes to get a show started by waiting until after the first week of rehearsals has finished before reaching out to schedule a time to meet. I also encourage you to take time to process any emotions connected to seeing the cast list so that you may be open-minded when we meet. Please reach out if you are looking for additional resources on moving forward from rejection in theatre.

CAST: Our first rehearsal is Monday from 3:00-6:00 in the Theatre Design Lab (S182–take the little hallway across from the South Unit office). You’ll receive your scripts and other materials at that time. Refer to the rehearsal calendar that is posted on the audition page until then.
Measurements for costumes also will happen during Monday’s rehearsal with our costumer, Briley. Here are reminders to help measurements go smoothly on Monday:
-Avoid bulky or extremely loose clothing, such as cargo pants or baggy jeans.
-If you wear a hoodie, sweatshirt, or chunky sweater, wear a t-shirt or tank top underneath.
-Know your shoe size! Not sure? Check a recent pair of dress or casual shoes (not athletic shoes) that fits you well.
-When it's your turn for measurements, take off any jackets/hoodies/flannels and empty your pockets. Leave all your stuff at your chair.
