INFO FOR THOSE WHO AUDITIONED FOR THE GREAT GATSBYCHS Theatre has one more audition/leadership opportunity ahead this year. Auditions for Mamma Mia! will be January 30-31, and audition information and leadership applications will be available starting at the January 17 STAGE meeting. Each show has different needs, so if you are not a part of this cast, we encourage you to audition again in the future! Theatre is always looking for enthusiastic, creative, hard-working people! We would also love to see you at set build, at costuming, at STAGE club meetings, or in the audience!
Because we are creating theatre in an educational setting, some students may wish to meet to get feedback about their work at auditions and/or callbacks. I am happy to share my observations, and I make this available to students only so that they may take ownership of their growth. I ask that you respect the time it takes to get a show started by waiting until after the first week of rehearsals has finished before reaching out to schedule a time to meet. I also encourage you to take time to process any emotions connected to seeing the cast list so that you may be open-minded when we meet. Please reach out if you are looking for additional resources on processing rejection in theatre. Thank you again for all of your hard work this week! Mr. Hamen
