ADVANCED THEATRE ARTS/THEATRE ARTS II
This class continues where Theatre 1 left off and goes more in-depth. At the beginning of the semester, we do a survey to find out areas of theatre the group would like to explore, and then we plan the class to match these interests. Theatre 2 may be repeated.

TECHNICAL THEATRE
This is a two year program which focuses on the technical elements of the entertainment industry including theatre, productions, concerts and other “live” performances. The program provides a thorough background in all areas of production and design (scenery, lighting, sound, and costuming) with a focus on projects. Open to juniors and seniors, Technical Theatre Tech Prep provides the opportunity to earn credit from Sinclair Community College, which can be transferred to both two- and four-year colleges.
Technical Theatre students have the opportunity to work on individual and group projects with select designs being chosen for implementation through theatre and dance department productions. There will be many opportunities for out-of-class work as technicians at the Performing Arts Center. Classes are taught in the P.A.C. with students using the scene shop, stage, and theatre as their classroom.
Students learn through a combination of projects, interactive instruction, and hands-on learning. As part of the program, students will be involved in main stage theatrical productions, dance concerts and other after-school performances.
(Two year course-3 credits junior year, 3 credits senior year)
