CLASSROOM
We offer five different curricular options during the regular school day. We offer classes on general theatre, acting and directing, and a block class for technical theatre. OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM
ANY student at CHS is welcome to audition for our mainstage shows or to work as a crew member on the technical parts of these shows (set, lighting, sound, costumes and more). Students to not have to be enrolled in theatre classes to audition or work backstage. Please follow CHS announcements for audition dates and crew work starting dates. ANY student at CHS is welcome to participate in our extra-curricular theatre group, S.T.A.G.E.. Students do not have to be enrolled in theatre classes to be in this group or to audition for STAGE shows. |
THESPIAN CONFERENCES
For CHS students who are interested in any aspect of theatre, we attend several Thespian events each year. Learn more. COMMUNITY
Students schedules don't always allow participation in CHS classes or productions, especially during the school year. There are many community theatres in the surrounding area that produce shows during the year and during the summer break. SERVICE
Our students also participate in service events through S.T.A.G.E.. These include our annual food drive, "Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat," as well as outreach events to other schools and community organizations. |
