Isha Atiq (Assistant Stage Manager) is a sophomore and is ecstatic to be assistant stage managing her third show at CHS! She has recently helped stage manage Mirror, Mirror at Town Hall Theatre and Around the World In 80 Days at CHS. While not at rehearsal, Isha enjoys singing, watching movies and hanging out with her friends. She would like to thank Emily, Niah, and Ellie for everything and Mr. Hamen and the CHS Theatre staff for making this show possible.
Jaden Cohen (Student Technical Director) is a sophomore at CHS and thrilled to be a part of his fifth show. Jaden loves theatre and wants to continue theatre throughout his high school career. Jaden Is so excited to see what other shows and opportunities may come his way this year! Patrick Comunale (Dr. Seward) is a sophomore at CHS and delighted to have you all as guests in his mansion this evening! You may have seen him in Around the World In 80 Days as U/S Phileas Fogg, or appearing in First Date last year as Gabe. He would like to give a huge thanks to the cast and crew of this production for their work to make it the spookiest sensation possible. An even bigger thanks goes to you for joining the cast and crew for this ride. Jade Eilers (Prof. Van Helsing) is a senior who is very excited to take part in her twenty-sixth stage production. Jade has been involved in theatre for about ten years. Jade is also signed with Heyman Talent Agency for commercials and films. Outside of theatre, Jade is Miss Ohio High School America and avidly advocates for drug prevention. Her advocating has taken her all the way to the United Nations, where she was able to speak on International Drug Prevention Day! Her favorite role has been Aida in Over the River and Through the Woods! She would like to thank her amazing momma for her constant support and love, her lovely friends, and Mr. Hamen for this incredible opportunity! Mitchell Goecke (Dracula) is a senior and is so excited to be performing in his 22nd show, Dracula! Most recently he was cast as Quasimodo in the Hunchback Of Notre Dame, this role is the favorite one on which he has worked. He is also actively involved in Forte A Cappella and is the last member of the Improv Guys still attending Centerville High School! He would love to thank Anthony John Communale and Quinn Norris Bennett for helping him with his auditions and development of the character. He’d like to also thank his friends and family for their help and support along the way! He thanks you for wearing a mask. Reid Hansen (Renfield) is excited to be a part of his twelfth show at CHS. You may have seen him as Reggie in First Date or Player Four in Around the World In 80 Days. Reid wants to thank Mr. Hamen for giving him a chance to stretch his creative muscles. He would also like to thank his parents for supporting him through this tough time. Amanda Kingrey (Abigail) is a freshman at CHS and is thrilled to be a part of her first high school theatre production! Dracula has been so much fun and Amanda has enjoyed working with everyone involved. Some past favorite productions include White Christmas, Bye Bye Birdie Jr, and Into the Woods Jr. Amanda would like to thank Becky Barrett-Jones and Alan Jones for their guidance and coaching. She would also like to thank her family for all their love and support. Callie Lippincott (Prop Master) is a senior and is excited to be participating in her tenth show at CHS! Some of her favorite shows include Fiddler on the Roof and Around the World In 80 Days. She wants to thank everyone for their hard work to make the show possible! Jules Marzluff (Mrs. Harker) is a sophomore and is participating in her fourth show at CHS! Previously, Jules has been in Centerville's productions of First Date and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Jules has been doing theatre for eight years and is excited to be performing in such a suspenseful and emotionally-charged role. She would like to thank Niah Cohen for reminding her to write this biography. Lauren Nassmacher (Prop Master) Is a sophomore who is ecstatic to be taking part in Dracula. Lauren has been fascinated by theatre for a long time. She is incredibly grateful she has received the chance to work on the shows CHS Theatre produces. Lauren wants to thank her parents, her sister Emma, and Teddy for their unrelenting support as well as the ability to put up with her mischievous behavior. Brianna Pitts (Lucy) is excited to be a part of CHS Theatre's production of Dracula! She is a senior and a lover of all things spooky. However, most of her favorite horror movies are horror comedies. She would like to thank her parents and friends for helping her during the rehearsal process and supporting her throughout her time spent performing at CHS. Happy belated Halloween! Camryn Smith (Assistant Director) is a senior and is honored to be participating in her eighth show at Centerville High School. You may have seen Camryn as Player 2 in Around the World In 80 Days and she was cast in the ensemble for The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This is Camryn's first time directing and she had a wonderful time pursuing a different side of the theatre experience. Camryn is hopes to attend college and study forensics. Camryn wants to thank Mr. Hamen for this wonderful opportunity, and all the staff of the CHS Theatre for helping the students have a theatre season during this turbulent time. Also she sends a big thank you to her parents for their unwavering support. Mason Smith (Renfield) is a sophomore who is excited to be back for another year at CHS Theatre! Mason is in the Wolf Cast of Dracula. This is Mason's third performance on the high school stage. Mason would like to thank CHS Theatre for making this play happen. He is very happy to participate in the show. Riley Weeks (Assistant Director) is a senior this year and is happy to be back doing theatre this year! This is her sixth show at CHS and her first time as an assistant director! Some of the favorite shows she’s performed in were First Date, Into the Woods, and The Curious Savage. When she’s not doing theatre, Riley enjoys writing, reading stories, listening to music, and singing! She wants to thank Mr. Hamen for encouraging her and for being an awesome person. She appreciates both her biological and theatre families for always being there for her. |
Esther Bright (Abigail) is a junior and is ecstatic to be participating in her first play with CHS Theatre. Two of her favorite past theatre positions include the ensemble of Fiddler on the Roof and playing in the pit for Into the Woods. She has had an amazing time working with a fun group of people and is so grateful for this opportunity. She would like to thank her parents for always believing in her and being her biggest fans; her friends for putting up with her never ending British accent; and her siblings for constantly helping her memorize lines (voluntarily or otherwise). She hopes you enjoy the show!
Niah Cohen (Stage Manager) is a junior at CHS and is thrilled that everyone can see this “Spooktacular" show. This is not Niah's first time being a stage manager. She was stage manager for Cactus Flower and The Hunchback of Notre Dame and an assistant stage manager for Twelve Angry Jurors, Fiddler on the Roof, and First Date. She was also a prop master for Around the World In 80 Days. Her defining theatre moment was running the spotlights for Into the Woods. It was then that she decided that the theatre was the place for her. Niah enjoys painting, lunch with the boys, showing her friends pictures of opossums, and jamming to music. Niah would like to thank her incredibly talented assistant stage manager, Ellie Smith and her friends, Emily Fried and Isha Atiq, who are stage managers for the Wolf cast. Emma Fry (Mrs. Harker) is elated to be back at CHS Theatre! She previously was seen in Around the World in 80 Days, First Date, Fiddler on the Roof, 12 Angry Jurors, and Into the Woods. When not onstage, Emma costumes for Dare to Defy Productions, Epiphany Players, and Town Hall Theatre. Emma is also a designer for Dayton Fashion Week as well as Simplicty Patterns and Girls Life Magazine. In her free time Emma enjoys sewing, baking, and aerial silks. She’d like to thank Abbey for being her personal acting coach as well as her amazing double Jules and all of the CHS Theatre staff for all of their hard work and dedication! Logan Gregory (Building Group Mentor) is a senior at CHS and is thrilled to be a part of the first show after quarantine! This is his ninth show, and he can’t wait for more! He loves being backstage, working with the actors and being a part of a big supportive theatrical family! He would like to thank Mr. C and Mr. Hamen for showing him what he can do within the theatre world here at CHS! Ava Kincade (Building Group Mentor) is a junior and is ecstatic to be a part of her seventh show at CHS! Some of her favorite productions include Around the World In 80 Days and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Ava would like to thank everyone involved in the production of this show for adapting to the changes and challenges and for making every day a reason to smile. She would also like to thank everyone who has given someone a ride to theatre, provided a meal, come to see a show, and anyone who has helped in any other way. Without all of your help, there would be no show. Thank you for making this possible. Katie Kress (Prof. Van Helsing) is a senior and is thrilled to be in her 11th CHS production. Some of her most recent roles at CHS include Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Narrator in Around the World In 80 Days, and Allison in First Date. Katie also participates in Symphonic Choir, Forte A Cappella, NHS, and S.T.A.G.E. Club. She would like to thank her friends, family, and the cast and crew of Dracula for helping to bring CHS Theatre back from its brush with death. Sam Lynch (Building Mentor) is a senior at Centerville High School. This is his 13th production at CHS, and he looks forward to the upcoming shows this year. Sam would like to thank the whole cast and crew for all their hard work. Sam McLain (Dr. Seward) is a sophomore and very happy to return to the stage! Some of his favorite past productions include First Date at CHS, Hairspray and Mamma Mia! with Muse Productions, and Peter Pan with Wright State University Theatre. When not acting, Sam enjoys participating with the CHS Speech & Debate Team, Fairhaven Church Youth Group, and wearing neon. He’d like to thank his Bat and Wolf castmates, his voice teacher Darin Jolliffe-Haas, and of course his loving family. Emma Nassmacher (Student Technical Director) is a junior and is thrilled to be a part of Dracula. Emma is and has been fascinated by theatre for a long time. She continues to be grateful have the chance to work on many productions with CHS Theatre. Emma thanks her parents and her sister Lauren for their unrelenting support including their ability to put up with her. Emma Purnhagen (Lucy) is a freshman and is thrilled to be making her debut with CHS Theatre. This marks the 15th time she has participated in a theatre production. Some of her past favorite shows include Bye Bye Birdie and Frozen Jr. at Town Hall Theater, and Narnia:The Musical with Dare 2 Defy Productions. In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, and painting. She would like to thank her family and friends for continuing to support her. Ellie Smith (Assistant Stage Manager) is very excited to take on her first opportunity to be an assistant stage manager. She is currently a sophomore. Last year, she participated in Around the World In 80 Days as an understudy. She'd like to thank her fellow stage managers for guiding her through this process and giving her the support she needed. She'd also like to thank everyone who made this show possible during a pandemic. It certainly wasn't an easy feat, but she thinks everything came together splendidly. Ethan Touhey (Dracula) is a senior at CHS and this is the 16th show he has been involved with at CHS. Two of his favorites are Fiddler on the Roof and Cactus Flower. He loves working in the theatre, whether on stage or back stage. He really enjoys looking for places to be helpful and involved with theatre. |
